Our Story

Salon Giacomo Lui et Elle has been a staple in Montreal-North, on Fleury, since the 1960’s. Our owner and head barber, Giacomo Delle Donne, immigrated as a teenager from Italy to Montreal and opened his own shop in 1961. For generations, clients have sat in his vintage orange barber chairs and shared countless stories. For years, Giacomo’s has been a place for the community to come together, relax, chat, and have fun over a shot of espresso.

As soon as you walk into our shop, you will see pictures on the mirrors of all the satisfied clients throughout the years as well as Giacomo’s family. At 83, Giacomo is still passionate about cutting hair and making every one of his clients smile with their new hairstyle. With Giacomo’s great people skills and his expertise in hair styling, you’ll immediately feel welcomed.
